A 40-year-old man was shot dead in the Río Negro city of San Carlos de Bariloche, and authorities are searching for the suspects. According to the Argentine News Agency, the incident occurred early Thursday on Chicori Street, block 287. The victim, identified as Diego Antonio Cid, was shot three times: once in the arm, once in the chest, and once in the armpit. Despite being taken to a regional hospital, he died at the scene. A neighbor called the 911 emergency command and reported a person injured by a firearm. At the same time, Río Negro police officers were analyzing footage from security cameras and implementing a dragnet operation to capture the presumed culprits. However, investigators determined that the homicide was perpetrated from a white Peugeot 408 with four occupants and tinted windows. Prosecutor Paolini ordered an autopsy, expert examinations, and the collection of evidence by the Criminalistics Bureau to clarify the event. In an interview with Radio Seis, Commissioner Alexis Venegas stated: "A weapon was seized, but we are not certain that it was the one used. It is known that the victim had friends in the area, but he was not from the neighborhood".
